Membership committee
This committee promotes the Central Colorado Chapter of ARN to current
members and potential members. The committee is responsible for
maintenance of current member's home and email addresses for mailings of
chapter activity. They shall determine the status of quorum at the
chapter business meetings for President.
Nominating committee
The nomination committee is responsible for reviewing candidates for
elective officers and directors of the Chapter and shall make
recommendations concerning such candidates to the membership.
Education committee
Plans and executes the monthly meeting education event. The committee
plans the all-day conference which is held every other year.
Legislative committee
Monitors and keeps membership aware of important federal and state level
legislative activity as it occurs throughout the calendar year.
Website
Gather information and write content for website; submit to webmaster
for posting. Update website as needed. Respond to requests for
information from site.
Networking/social
This committee is responsible for promoting opportunities for social
gatherings, networking opportunities and developing a website
"scrapbook" featuring various chapter activities.
Community support
Responsible for development and implementation of activity, which will promote community awareness of rehabilitation nursing.
Research Committee
This committee is responsible for reviewing and sharing published
research pertinent to rehabilitation nursing. Activities include
leading or coordinating journal club twice a year. The research
committee will also serve as consultants on EBP, quality improvement,
and research projects lead by ARN nurses and provide a forum for sharing
best practice and EBP findings between nurses and between facilities.
The research committee will also review submissions and make
recommendations to the board regarding the Annual $500 ARN Nursing
Research Grant.
